We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other contact details. The only data that leaves your device is processed by Google services:

If Android backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include this App data in your device backup. This backup is managed by Google under your account, not by us.
Pilo is a battery companion that keeps working while you use other apps. To do this, it runs an Android foreground service (type: "special use"). Android requires such a service to show an ongoing notification, so you will see a Pilo notification with your battery emoji and battery level while the service is running.

The service starts again after your phone restarts or the App is updated, so your pet keeps working. You can turn individual features off in Settings, change or turn off the notification in Settings → Notification settings, or stop the service completely by force-stopping or uninstalling the App in Android settings.
Pilo asks only for the permissions it needs. All of them are optional, and the App works without them with fewer features:
Pilo does not use the accessibility service, usage access, location, camera, microphone, contacts or storage permissions. You can revoke any permission at any time in Android settings.

Pilo is free and supported by ads: a banner above the bottom menu, occasional interstitial and app open ads, and optional rewarded videos that unlock looks, accessories or bonus XP. There are no ads in the overlay pet, the notification or the widget.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, your ad choices are collected with Google's consent form when you first open the App. You can change them at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads or Privacy → Ads).
Because Pilo has no accounts, there is no account to delete. Data on your device stays until you delete it: you can remove all of it by clearing the App's storage (Android Settings → Apps → Pilo → Storage → Clear storage) or by uninstalling the App.
Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing, to withdraw consent and to receive a portable copy of it. Because we do not know who you are, please include your device model and approximate install date when you contact us so we can locate any data linked to your device.
Data sent to Google services is encrypted in transit. Your pet and settings stay in the App's private storage on your device. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Pilo is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
