Focus Forge Privacy Policy

We collect only the data needed to run the App, keep your progress and improve the experience:

• Account ID (a random ID for guest accounts; your email address if you sign in with Apple or Google) — to keep your account and progress. Stored in Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore).
• Focus sessions, coins, XP, streak, league score and challenges — to run the App and the leaderboards. Stored in Firebase Firestore.
• Usage events (e.g. session completed, paywall viewed), device model, operating system, country and language — to improve the App and produce statistics. Processed by Google Firebase Analytics and Mixpanel (EU data residency).
• Crash reports — to find and fix bugs. Processed by Firebase Crashlytics.
• Advertising identifier (only if you allow it) and approximate location derived from your IP address — to show and measure ads. Processed by Google AdMob.
• Purchase records (product and transaction ID) — to verify Premium and coin purchases. Processed by Apple App Store / Google Play and Firebase.

Your companion (pet) and room state, as well as your app settings, are stored only on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

Focus Forge uses the following third-party services, which process data on our behalf as described above:

• Google Firebase — Authentication (anonymous guest sign-in and optional Sign in with Apple / Google), Cloud Firestore, Analytics and Crashlytics
• Mixpanel — product analytics, hosted in the EU
• Google AdMob — advertising, with the Google User Messaging Platform for consent
• Apple App Store / Google Play Billing — in-app purchases and subscriptions

Please review each provider's privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

On iOS, the advertising identifier is used only if you choose "Allow" in the App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you do not allow tracking, you may still see non-personalised ads.

In the EU and UK, your ad choices are collected with Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform). You can change them at any time in Profile → Privacy choices.

Premium subscriptions and coin packs are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Purchases are verified with Apple's and Google's servers, and we store only the purchase record (product and transaction ID). We never receive your payment card details.

Your account data is kept until you delete your account. You can delete your account and all of your data on our servers at any time in the App via Profile → Delete account.

Analytics and crash data are kept for a maximum of 14 months.

If you can no longer access the App, see the account deletion instructions or email us.

You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing, and to receive a portable copy of it. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email address below.

We use the security measures provided by our service providers to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

Focus Forge is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes, we will announce it in the App and on this page. The "Last Updated" date above shows when it was last revised.
